Can white women with straight hair get locks-like nappy locks?

Or dread locks? How do you do it? What's the best way-and cheapest?

Don't take lock advice from caucasian women!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

With mixed or straight hair, cheap is not the way to get locks. Go....No, run to a professional that will start the locks and show you a proper maintenance program. Unlike some may think....NOT washing your hair in NOT how to get locks...it's how to go tangled and then bald when you shave your hair off. The hair has to be "started" and with caucasian hair, braids are typically the best way to start the locks...then there is a technique to begin the "twisting" You will need to wash your hair with special shampoos that encourage locking and maintained with products to "hold" the lock.

Good luck. Check out naturalhair.com they have the best products and professionals to help people of all nationalities who want locks. I recently saw some of their work up close...AWESOME

dont brush your hair, dont wash your hair, dont comb it, and it should just start to go in naturally.

never wash your hair, and you have to twist your hair and basically let it knot itself. If not.. then go to a hairstylist and get it professionally done.

Why does everyone think that you never have to wash your hair for dreds? Go to a nautral hair stylist.

Yes, it can be done, but not without the assistance of some outside help. Failing to wash or comb your hair isnt enough to start the loc process; I've known people who find hair wax, creams, or use other adhesive products (not meant for hair; like glue or tape) on their hair in order to make the hair fuse together. Visit a natural hair salon (one who specializes in care for locs and such) to ask them what they recommend. They can probably steer you in the right direction, as this is what they do.
