MIXED WITH BLACK & WHITE: how do you do your hair?

I wash it and then dab it with the towel. Then I put some moisturizer on the ends and some in the middle, but never the roots. Then I let it air dry. After it's completely dry, I style it however I want. It looks like this:

How do you guys do your hair? And what hair type do you have? I'm just curious.

Use a curl enhancer. There are many good ones on the market. Spray it on damp hair and scrunch your hair and let your hair air dry. Redken and Nexxus both have good curl enhancers and Fructis also has one that works good but builds up on your hair worse than the professional enhancers.

Print the pic out and take to your hairdresser. Ask questions on how you can maintain it in between salon visits.

I wash it then towel dry. I put Aveda's hang straight lotion all through my hair and blowdry with a paddle brush. Then I flat iron the ends only to make my hair more polished and finish with Aveda's smoothing fluid. It ends up like this.

i have curly hair.

so after i wash it with a curl shampoo, i apply a curl enhancing cream.

i use catwalk products.

One of my mixed friends uses mixed chicks products. Her hair looks pretty healthy to me. It's not as volumous as the girl in that picture though, but then again it probably depends on how she styles it, she also uses gel.
