so that when the dye goes awayit will look like i meant for it to be white?

It depends on what color your hair is now. If it is dark then your first attempt is not going to be good. You might have to bleach a second time to get it really light. I would wait awhile before you bleach again. Don't want to burn your hair. Can be done just becarful. Good luck

Bleach will turn hair white providing the hair is LIGHT enough in the first place, with not a lot of damage.....once you put on a darker hair color it will not go back to white just by the color fading out....It will keep the 'base' color you put on your hair....say you put on a HONEY blond.....your then white hair will probably turn out, at the lightest a golden (orange-yellow) color, but not white, even after a month or two of shampooing, it will never go back to white till bleached again. Then you take the chance of melting your hair....

i have black hair, and i bleached part of it, and it only came out a orangish color. if i would have done it any lighter it would have fallen off. but i f you have blone hair, you can get it pretty light
