White hairs in teen years??

im 17 and i've got four white hairs growing out of my head. my mom says its hereditary. is this true? or is something really wrong with me?

My daughter started greying in high school, quite early on.

It is not dangerous or anything.

Just genetic roll of the dice.

Actually, she's been all grey/white since mid twenties and if she dyes it, it looks very cool when it is growing out.

She keeps her hair short and right now her hair is silver with blue/black, (the dyed bit), on the ends. Looks like she spent a fortune on a designer haircolor.

no its nothing like that.. i have 4 white hairs too

its either stress , not enough sleep or over shampooing

for me it was my shampoo..

yes, hair type is inherited.

there is nothing much you can do about it but if it botheres you, you might try dyeing it ?
